'Alert causing community anguish' - FeelyPublished: 4 January, 2018 ![]() After a second warning of an explosive device in the Cashel/Kiltyclogher area in the space of a fortnight Sinn Féin Councillor Anthony Feely says the number of unanswered questions keep growing. The Erne West Councillor said; "After speaking to the police they have assured me they are treating the warning with the utmost seriousness. If an explosive device has been left in the area those responsible should realise they have no support and are offering nothing to our communities. "However, there are a number of questions that must be asked. Is this warning connected to the warning in December that resulted in no device being found? "Do the police believe these two warnings are connected or indeed is it a warning about the same device? "This situation has to be brought to a satisfactory conclusion and must not be allowed to linger on causing disruption and anguish to the local community." - Ends |
