Anthony Feely congratulates Cashel Community Association on funding award
Published: 19 December, 2016
Sinn Féin Erne West Councillor, Anthony Feely, has congratulated Cashel Community Association on the award of £337,551 from the Big Lottery funded Space and Place programme.
Speaking from Garrison, Mr Feely said:
"The significant funding awarded will ensure that Cashel Community Association can redevelop the community centre to provide additional building space and car parking provision.
"This will allow greater use of the centre for multiple activities taking place at the same time and will also allow for more diversity of use of the hall as a venue for events and activities.
"These works are good news for all sections of the community and, indeed, for communities on both sides of the border due to the accessibility to Kiltyclogher who will have this great facility on their doorstep.
"This is a great example of community coming together and delivering something that will benefit the entire area.
"Cashel Community Association had a wonderful celebration night on Wednesday. I was able to personally congratulate them on this fantastic achievement and on the huge effort that they have put in to secure this." - Ends/Críoch
