The Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA said:

"During this historic centenary year this public event gives us a chance to reflect on the 1916 Easter Rising and the impact it has on everyone living in Ireland.

"Public events such as the Making History Talk series provide an opportunity to open up conversations within the wider community and increase our understanding of the past.

"The Making History Talk series came about through dialogue between the County Fermanagh Grand Orange Lodge, the Church of Ireland diocese of Clogher, as well as Enniskillen Methodists and Presbyterians.

"I commend them for their initiative to promote greater understanding and good relations in the community." ENDS/CRÍOCH
